Description

TRITAN Spherical Plain Bearings feature inner & outer rings with spherical sliding surfaces and can simultaneously accommodate heavy radial loads and bi-directional axial loads. The maintenance free design utilizes hardened carbon chromium steel-on-steel and the ball is hard chrome plated to reduce friction while it slides on the PTFE lined outer ring. In most applications these bearings do not require lubrication. ; Spherical Plain bearings are used in a wide variety of applications such as those in the automation, construction, mining, and transportation industries, including off-highway equipment, farming, and machine tools.
