Description

The Polaris ISPBS350 2-Port In-Line Entry Submersible Connector provides the simplest solution for forming a secure connection between two conductors in direct burial or temporary submersal applications with a wide range of wire sizes. Sized for 350 MCM - 12 AWG wires and rated for 600V, this pre-insulated connector comes pre-loaded with an oxide inhibitor and installs faster than traditional connector options using just a hex key and torque wrench. The aluminum alloy body is wrapped in high-dielectric strength rubber insulation with a nominal thickness of 125 mils which is resistant to abrasion, chemicals and UV rays. Meets or exceeds UL486D and ANSI C119.1 specifications for use in temporary submersion, direct burial, or damp locations subject to occasional flooding. All-in-one design saves time and supplies on each job by eliminating the need for cover and taping; simply brush the conductors clean, strip back their insulation, insert one conductor into each port and secure the covered radial tipped set-screws. The ISPBS350 connector is rated for a 90 degrees Celsius operating temperature and dual rated for use with copper and/or aluminum cables.
