Description

Hubbell manual reset starters provide positive protection for the fluorescent installation by deactivating a lamp when it burns out. Thi eliminates annoying flashing and protects the ballast and the starter from damage. When a lamp fails, the cut-out mechanism in the Hubbell manual reset starter breaks the circuit and de-activates the lamp instantly. Yet, once the burned out lamp is replaced, the new lamp can be re-activated by simply pressing a button on the top of the starter can. This closes the circuit, and the starting cycle is initiated.
