Description

Appleton® explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, Contender™ Series factory sealed manual motor starters and contactors are available to meet any plant installation requirement. They may be used to install a variety of electrical wiring devices and come complete with covers and dead-end or feed-thru hub arrangements. The Contender™ Series is available with or without a heater. Complete units are ideal for the manual starting of small Vac or Vdc motors in locations made hazardous by the presence of flammable vapors, gases or combustible dust.
