Description

The Bridgeport EC-100 1" Mighty-Move® Steel Expansion Coupling permits lateral movement in EMT conduit caused by thermal expansion and contraction, preventing damage to conduit supports and electrical systems. Steel expansion couplings are useful in installations where temperature changes are expected. Thermal expansion and contraction can cause significant damage on long straight runs of EMT conduit. Steel expansion couplings help prevent potentially harmful thermal stresses in the EMT conduit or in any supporting structures. EMT conduit will have an added 2" to expand in either direction.
