Description

The Bridgeport 240-SR 1/2" EMT Steel Red Coupling ensures that you have a proper connection between two lengths of red EMT conduit in emergency circuits, fire alarm and security system applications. The patented color-coded connectors provide circuit identification from inside panels and boxes with durable, lead-free thermosetting paint. Users are able to easily ground or bond red EMT. Taping the coupling prevents the entrance of concrete aggregate into the raceway, which could abrade conductor insulation or effectively reduce the area inside the raceway. The tri-drive set screws ensure that the connection between the two lengths of conduit stays securely in place. Also usable with aluminum EMT.
